Anyone who talks to me about how much travelling I do will know that I travel by train, and that I work hard to get cost-effective tickets. This is sometimes just by getting advance fares, sometimes by splitting tickets in simple ways, and sometimes by going all out, super aggressive, and using my own, hand-rolled split-ticket finding system.

But split tickets are becoming run-of-the-mill, and everyone knows about them now. "There are sites that do it for you!" people exclaim, or indeed, explain.

So far my system regularly beats the off-the-shelf, on-the-web systems, but there will come a time when it will be easier simply to use one of them.

So here is a list of potential resources for splitting tickets
against which I should compare my system:
