Advice For New Users
The
set
of all values which are the outputs of the elements of the
domain
of a
function
is called the
range
. The difference between the
range
and the
codomain
is that the
range
is the
set
of values actually achieved, while the
codomain
is the
set
of values into which the
function
maps. Not all values in the
codomain
are necessarily achieved.
