A Mathematics Talk given
by Colin Wright

Tagged As Talk Description

I will talk for you ...

This is a 60 to 70 minute (variable) talk entitled

The Unexpected
Maths Of Juggling

Disguised as an entertaining description of juggling and the Site Swap notation, the presentation is really about science and mathematics, how they work, what they mean, and why they're important. The talk has been given in locations as diverse as New Zealand, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Washington, Vancouver, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Ireland, The Isle of Man, China, Brunei, and all over mainland UK.

The number of presentations started at about 25 per year in 1985, but has grown significantly to over 80 per year in 2007. It is variously presented as a mathematics masterclass, a school talk, and as general lectures.

This links at right give you more information about getting Colin to come and do a talk for you, but if none of these seems to cover what you need or if you have any other questions, then feel free to email Colin at mailto:juggler@solipsys.co.uk

In addition, Colin also gives a variety of MathsTalks that are increasing in popularity.
