The Enigma Project is a part of the Millennium Mathematics Project (MMP), which is, according to their web site:

"... a maths education initiative
for ages 5 to 19 and the general
public, based at the University of
Cambridge, but active nationally
and internationally."

There you will find a multitude of resources and ideas on how to inspire, motivate and demonstrate the practical applications of mathematics using codes and ciphers in the classroom either before or following an Enigma Project visit.
