Advice For New Users

Take a piece of A4 paper.

Fold it along the long axis and open it out.

Now fold one corner over onto the centre crease so that the new fold line passes through the corner as shown.

You have created some angles of 60° and 30°.

Can you prove this?

Does the paper have to be A4?

This is the first fold in the construction of an equilateral triangle shown in folding polygons.
